There is no cost to departments for recruitment advertisements in the Public Sector Notices.  Recruitment advertisements are charged at the applicable NSW Government rate for the newspaper concerned.

RRSU Approval

All new vacancies are viewed by RRU (Recruitment and Redeployment Unit of the Department of Premier and Cabinet) via jobs.nsw prior to being advertised, for possible matching with displaced employees. Agencies seeking exemption from the redeployment process must contact the RRU and provide:

1. The name of the Agency/Division from which matching exemption is requested.

2. Information about the work being performed by the Agency/Division or the types of jobs to be excluded.

3. Reasons why an exemption should be granted.
